Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vector.ai, including our website, private beta program, and application (collectively, the "Service"). By requesting beta access, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and beta access
The Service is currently offered as a private beta for founders, operators, and invited users. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
Beta access is not guaranteed. We may approve, deny, suspend, or revoke access at any time, for any reason, including limited capacity or misuse. You must sign up for the beta waitlist and use the same email address when signing in with Google.
The Service
vector.ai is an AI-powered assistant designed to help you manage calendar events, tasks, notes, contacts, and related workspace context through natural-language chat and built-in tools.
The Service may:
- Import read-only data from your connected Google account
- Create and update tasks, notes, calendar events, and contacts inside vector.ai
- Use AI to interpret your requests, suggest actions, and retrieve relevant context
- Require confirmation before booking certain calendar events
- Change features, limits, or availability during the beta period
The Service does not write changes back to Google Workspace on your behalf. Calendar, task, and contact data you manage inside vector.ai is stored in our systems separately from Google.
Google sign-in and third-party services
Sign-in and certain features require a Google account. Your use of Google services is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies. You authorize us to access the Google scopes requested during sign-in, currently on a read-only basis for Calendar, Tasks, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Contacts, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service also relies on third-party providers for hosting, databases, AI processing, analytics, and error monitoring. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
AI features and limitations
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and take actions on your behalf. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing important decisions, especially calendar bookings, deadlines, and business-critical information.
We do not guarantee that the assistant will always understand your intent, retrieve the correct information, or perform actions without error. Use your judgment before relying on AI-generated content or automated actions.
Your responsibilities
You agree that you will:
- Provide accurate beta signup and account information
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not misuse, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service
- Not use the Service to process unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
- Maintain the security of your Google account and devices used to access the Service
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to or create through the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, store, display, and use that content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service, including generating embeddings and AI responses.
You represent that you have the rights needed to provide any content you submit and that doing so does not violate third-party rights or applicable law.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as permitted by these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
Beta disclaimer
The Service is provided as a beta product and may contain bugs, interruptions, incomplete features, or data loss risk. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
During beta, we may contact you for feedback, product advice, or onboarding. Participation in those conversations is voluntary, but appreciated.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ACCURATE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, IF ANY.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out or requesting account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or if we discontinue the beta or Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to us through the beta page or the email address used to communicate with approved beta participants.
